Orbitfall: A Trading Card Game of Stations, Spaceships, and Stars
Welcome to Orbitfall.
Orbitfall is a brand-new trading card game inspired by classic strategy titles like Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon, reimagined in a bold, original science-fiction universe.
Designed to be easy to learn and quick to pick up, Orbitfall welcomes new players while offering depth through strategic decisions that add drama to every game. Players crew ships, command fleets, manage fleeting star resources, and make meaningful choices that influence the outcome of each battle.
As players gain more experience, Orbitfall becomes increasingly rewarding to master. Victory relies on thoughtful planning, adaptive thinking, and learning to leverage the game’s systems over time. No two battles unfold the same way, and every match tells a different story.
Whether you’re a seasoned card-game veteran or exploring the genre for the first time, Orbitfall offers a compelling balance of accessibility, strategic depth, and replayability, delivering a game that’s engaging, satisfying, and genuinely fun to play.
Current Development Status
Updated: July 10, 2026
Orbitfall is currently in version 2 of Alpha production and active playtesting. The second set of Orbitfall has been printed with updated core systems and mechanics in place, and ongoing refinement of these will be driven through live games and player feedback.
Playtesting events are currently being scheduled at local game stores to introduce the game, give new people an opportunity to play, and gain their feedback to help us shape the game going forward.
Following playtesting and continued iteration, we plan to bring Orbitfall to Kickstarter later this year to support final development, commissioned artwork, and our first production run.
